Anti-Snap Locks fitted to doors are protection from one of the main developing burglary trends - that of Locksnapping.

Watch the video below on lock snapping or cyclinder snapping as it is sometimes referred to.  The BBC reported on 'lock snapping' - earlier this year and it has affected a number of areas within the UK. .

Lock snapping accounts for up to a quarter of all burglaries in some areas.

A large Police and security operation follows the Olympic Torch as it passes through England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but where is it most likely that the Olympic Torch could get stolen, has it been stolen before and how does this affect me?

The Olympic Torch is passing through more than a 1000 cities, towns and villages on its relay route.  The flame will be stopping at a different location on each of the 70 day journey, Researchers at decided to identify where the main threats to face the Olympic Torch are based on crime levels within these areas.

The Crime Survey for England and Wales is the new name for what used to be called the British Crime survey.  The name was changed from the British Crime Survey (BCS) to better reflect the geographical coverage of the survey.  The Crime survey is different to official crime figures.
